Data Destruction

Data Destruction

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security processes for permanent, irrecoverable destruction of data from hard drives, SSDs, and mobile devices. Physical destruction via hammering or certified data erasure — with full chain-of-custody and individual certificates of destruction.

Simply deleting files or formatting drives does not destroy data — it remains fully recoverable with commercially available tools. A single data breach costs Indian enterprises an average of ₹17.9 crore. Our facility is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified for information security and is mandated by KSPCB to maintain facilities for permanently destroying data from all end-of-life storage media.

01

Secure Collection

Storage media collected in tamper-evident containers with full chain-of-custody documentation from your facility to our KIADB Malur plant.

02

Inventory & Verification

Every hard drive, SSD, and mobile device catalogued by make, model, serial number, and capacity. Pre-destruction verification confirms all assets accounted for.

03

Certified Destruction

Physical destruction via hammering or permanent data erasure using certified software — as mandated by our KSPCB Consent for Operation. Method selected based on media type and your security requirements.

04

Certificate of Destruction

Individual certificate issued listing every device destroyed — serial numbers, destruction method, date, operator, and verification results. Audit-ready documentation for IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023 compliance.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certified

Information security management system certified by QRO — scope covers e-waste recycling, refurbishment, and processing of non-ferrous metals.

KSPCB Mandated Process

Our CFO Annexure Condition #7 specifically requires us to maintain data destruction facilities. This is not an optional add-on — it is a regulatory obligation we fulfill.

Physical & Digital Methods

Hammering for physical destruction of platters. Certified data eraser software for secure multi-pass overwrite. Method matched to your security classification.

Audit-Ready Records

Complete documentation with individual serial numbers, destruction method, date, and verification — ready for IT Act, DPDP Act, and internal compliance audits.
