Insulated copper wire and jelly-filled cables contain high-value copper locked inside PVC sheathing and petroleum jelly insulation. Without authorized processing, these materials end up in informal burning operations that release toxic dioxins and furans into the environment.
Our Process
Cable Collection & Sorting
Insulated copper wire scrap and jelly-filled telecom cables collected, weighed, and sorted by type — PVC-sheathed power cables, communication cables, and ISRI-grade "Druid" material.
Mechanical Stripping
Cables processed through mechanical wire stripping equipment to separate copper conductors from PVC insulation and jelly fill — no burning or chemical stripping used.
Copper Separation & Grading
Extracted copper sorted by grade and purity. PVC insulation and petroleum jelly waste handled as per Hazardous Waste Management Rules and disposed to authorized TSDF.
Output & Documentation
Recovered copper refined and sold back into the manufacturing supply chain. Complete documentation — weighment records, processing logs, and disposal certificates for hazardous fractions.
